At Richwood Nursing and Rehabilitation, we pride ourselves on the level of hospitality and quality that we provide to each resident and guest. We were one of six recipients, in the state of Kentucky, of the American Healthcare Association’s Baldridge Bronze Quality Award in 2017. We strive for excellence each day and want you to come and enjoy our extremely clean facility and our warm, friendly, home-like environment. Our highly trained staff is sensitive to our guests’ needs and desires. We provide Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy 7 days a week. Our desire is for the most efficient recovery with focus on identification and rehabilitation of individuals with physical impairments and pain, as well as preventing future injury. Following evaluation, our therapists work with the resident and family to develop an individualized treatment program to directly fulfill specific needs. The goal is to achieve safety in a variety of areas, and to assist in achieving their maximum potential of independence and ability. We provide many levels of care in nursing with an emphasis and specialty in wound care. We have a Wound care Physician that rounds weekly. We also have a Medical Director that rounds weekly and has Nurse Practitioners that visit 2-3 times per week. Our facility was remodeled in 2016. We have transportation services for those who qualify. We accept most insurances and do accept Medicare and Medicaid. Please come and see us for a tour.
